Donations raised for Southern Fried Queer Pride: $523.20!!

A primary goal of mine for my exhibition Plays Well with Others was to engage with and benefit the local community. However, 2020 introduced the need to keep the community safe and healthy, so those goals had to be met from a distance. An artist-made coloring book became the perfect way to do so. Each of the Plays Well with Others artists as well as me (the curator) and Ehren Gerhard (the Gallery Director at the Alliance for the Arts) contributed pages to create A STRANGE & DELIGHTFUL COLORING BOOK for all ages. Coloring book pages were free to the public at the Alliance for the Arts during the exhibition and finished pages were displayed in the gallery during the exhibition - everyone was invited to play with us!

A STRANGE & DELIGHTFUL COLORING BOOK is now only available for purchase-by-donation directly through MagCloud for $20+shipping. Coloring book proceeds will go to Southern Fried Queer Pride (SFQP), an Atlanta-based non-profit organization empowering Black queer and QTPOC centered communities in the South through the arts.

Proceeds will be donated by me directly to SFQP — $16.80 per print copy and $3.50 per digital copy will go to SFQP (MagCloud takes the other portion of sales).
